Author Topic: Minecraft Megathread; yeah its update 1.12 big whoop what about it  (Read 6728847 times)

Do people replay adventure maps? Do people really think about the things they do in adventure maps?
I ask because im creating an adventure map. But not the normal formula of an adventure map... My map would showcases decisions. Things that will affect the world around you... An example of this is; You start out in a caved-in Mineshaft, where you have to struggle to get out. Upon exiting the cave, you can go three directions, all 3 of which I explain where you are going.

A) The first path takes you to a major city, where you meet up with the local officials to ask what happened in your cave...
B) The second path takes you into the city again, but into a shady part of the city, where you meet up with a group of rebellions, who explain how the Empire sabotaged your cave...
C) You are taken to a shack in the middle of a forest, where you meet up with a wizard, who you tell your tale to. He explains how a form of dark magic caused your cave to collapse...

This is just one example of what I am doing. All these paths lead to the same experience, but with a different endings...
I just want an opinion if people would be interested in this, or if this would just be a waste of time...

Welp, guess I'm not finishing Sunburn Islands

All I had left was Red Wool but when I got close to the end of the dungeon it lagged to an unplayable level even with all graphical settings at minimum and no other applications running

What tower should I use for the town me and my friend Josh are making? I might change the materials on either of them.

tower 1.

2 looks like a house

Optfine fine is 99% ready for 1.2.3, the preview is already out. Latest preview fixed the sandstone texture bug with connected textures.

I think they should add some decorative smoothstone stuff, along the lines of the mayans or something.

For mean for 1.2.4, not 1.2.3.

Also:

1.2.5 coming next week. :D

Am I the only one who can't stand singleplayer? Only multiplayer is fun for me. But I can't stand the way it horribly lags.

You are not alone.

I don't think Mojang is evil. I doubt they'd ever give their product away to those loving scumbags at EA.

Anyone know if 1.2.5 is going to be all bug fixes or if it will also have some new features?

Mojang wants to stay indie to keep that Indie CharmTM. If they weren't indie less people would buy the game because "Support the indie devs, down with big corporations!"
