You gotta be loving kidding me

An idea I had that could be added to the game is having content past bedrock. You could make a diamond drill.

A diamond drill has terrible durability (can be used 25 times, worse than gold by 8 uses), but breaks blocks quickly and breaks bedrock in twenty seconds.

Under bedrock would be Hard Rock.

It takes three times as long as it takes to mine stone with pickaxes above the grade of Iron and when destroyed it drops cobblestone. At the hard rock level, there would be new minerals. These new minerals would include Expergite, Deep Coal, Silver Ore and Gemstones. (Images being worked on)

Expergite is natural EXP. First you smelt 9 expergite, then you craft them up like you would to craft an ore block but instead it creates an EXP orb that as soon as it's crafted, it's spit out of the crafting table. Expergite would be extremely rare. Expergite can only be mined with either a Silver Pickaxe or a Diamond Drill.

Deep Coal is basically the same as normal coal only multiplied. One Deep Coal smelts 16 items, and when crafting torches with Deep Coal, you make 8 torches instead of 4. Deep Coal can only be mined with pickaxes above the grade of Iron.

Silver Ore is a step above Iron ore. The only thing it crafts are Silver Blocks, Silver Pickaxes and Silver Swords. Silver Pickaxes can mine Expergite and has a durability of 465. Silver swords have the same durability, and it's natural ability is that it does more damage to undead enemies regardless of enchantment. Silver Swords could possibly increase EXP gain each kill.

Gemstones (Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange and White) are purely for decoration. They can craft Gemstone Blocks with 9 Gemstones, or you can make a Gemstone Scepter. It has the same durability as a golden sword, only that when enchanting it, the enchantments you get for it are always +2 levels. Say you have a diamond sword with Sharpness V. If it were a Gemstone Sword, it would be Sharpness VII. A price to pay for enchantment. Basically it's a wizard sword.

That would be cool. Ike, learn Javascript to make a mod!

What does Javascript have to do with anything?

I reskinned the diamond sword with the drill concept to show you what it would look like being held

face it down.

It would do like the sword does when it's drilling

need to find some way to make it more drill-y, just looks like a weird sword atm

Does the inventory icon need to be spinning

Does the inventory icon need to be spinning

I don't know if it would or not. The bow animation changes the inventory icon upon being readied, so why not?

No it does not

No it does not

Oh. It used to, I just thought it remained that way.
