that isn't iron

Yes, it is.

lol not having wood.

It's called a "desert".

want me to call the waaaaambulance for you?

no thnx

The point is for it to generate objects like that for you to go in, defeat the people, loot the chests, and either leave it there or live in it.

Sounds alot like a dungeon.

yes we get it you don't like to use any mods and are obsessed with only vanilla lol what do you want me to say?

Good for you?

Dungeons have barely any loot in them and are essentially square stone rooms. I'd find it far more fun to board an airship with armed enemies and have to fight my way through them to loot the chests. Think of it was a really big dungeon.

I like that airship messes :o

Does anyone know of any good mountainous woldpainter maps? Like really craggy, uneven, and harsh.

The wings are made of iron blocks. At first I thought they were wool though.
it looks like they have lines going across them, i thought they were some new block added by the mod

Oh nooo :'(

Lately I've been thinking of good modes of long range transportation (in case I need to construct multiple bases), including by means incorporated into the Technic Pack.

  • An elevated railway using a long minecart track. This would require a lot of iron and cobblestone so it doesn't seem very feasible to me.
  • Gates. These too require a fair amount of time and work to construct so I'm leaning away from them.
  • Underground tunnels that stretch from building to building. These would be hard to coordinate over long distances though. :(

So basically I'm in a pickle and need ideas.

Mega
just make a Subway. make a "Switch" Building where you pick where to go. so say

BASE                              SUBWAY NIGZ                                 BASE

                                             BASE

Then you pick it and it will send you to 1 of 3

If you were to use the technic railcraft stuff you could make awesome jump pad things.

You could also make use of the nether portal transportation methods

or just make clear cut roads and tame a horse from the mo' creatures part of technic.
