Much better in ssp hardcore mode.

See how long you can last without any mods.

i mean that using 64 logs when you don't even need logs is unnecessary
the 64 thing?
MINECRAFT OCD IS KILLING ME HGDSF
I guess nobody else puts all their coal in the fuel slot and just leaves it there?

I do, there's no point in evenly measuring exactly how much coal you need for whatever when you can just stick it all in at once and let it go.

No because if you don't put everything in by 8's it'll use more coal than is needed.
Once or twice is okay but if you do it often it adds up a lot.

I think jeb should add brewable beer/wine/other drinks

does anyone else split things up into different furnaces? like if i want 64 smooth stone i split it up into 4 stacks of 16, then split up 8 coal into 2 coal and put 16 smooth stone and 2 coal into 4 furnaces? it saves me a lot of time.

I usually cook a stack of something at a time.

i do too, but i cook it in 4 separate furnaces, that way it'll all cook at the same time as opposed to 1 at a time.
