Click "options" in the launcher and change the allocated memory.
tricky to deal with since my computer doesn't open the files the same way as i open the minecraft file/.jar, making things like texture packs a bitch and a half.

that coupled with the fact that i can't go in and play with settings, spawn rates ect is really annoying when i feel the need to reduce the spawn rate of the one annoying mob that every mod with mobs has.

>Options, Global Mod Settings, Mo' Creatures (on Technic, anyway. You're not supposed to change mob settings in-game on any other modpacks, learn to edit config files if you really have to).
Fred, you're like the only person on the planet with a problem with this launcher (even my friend who has the most unpredictable and irritating computer has less problems than with normal Minecraft). Just use the loving thing.
