they drop spider eyes which are used in poison potions, good enough? i think so
the splash potions don't throw very far
how about the ability to tie splash potions to arrows with string, increasing the range but lowering the effect---
wait i dont think arrows can support weight like that realistically lol
lol, you expect realism from a game with giant mushrooms and exploding green snakees

lack of realism is one thing, tying a bottle of poison to the end of an arrow is something completely different

sand and gravel are "okay gravity we obey because we're atheists" but every other block is like "nope we don't like science" and will float where they please.

I was playing on my friend's 12w23b server. He runs it on hard mode and all my villagers died before I realized it. He gave me some spawn eggs, and after a while, I finally got them to breed with someone else's help.

While waiting for the kids to grow up, the thought occurred to me and I can't drop it: Why do I want to be able to trade cookies to little kids for emeralds? It'd have to be a good amount of cookies, but still...

I think that probably the reason sand and gravel fall is because sand and gravel are grainy things, and would mostly fall out of your hands if you held them, whereas things like rocks and dirt (remember, roots) will likely stay put

so you'll have currency...?

This is true.

That and also the other blocks have different uses.
Rock/stones: Roofs and caves
Wood and other blocks: Houses

well, I think he means more about the fact that they can stand entirely unsupported, not just without something below them

i'm talking about, when villagers are kids, you can give them a ton of cookies and they'll give you an emerald or two. Not really worth it for the amount a kid would want, but kids wanting cookies... And maybe even cake. xD

Cookies are easy to make now with the cocoa plants in the jungle, and so perhaps the kids aren't as cheap as their parents :P

But they're kids. They'd probably want full stacks, maybe two with the extra slot.

hahahaha

so i spend half an hour finding this only to find out it does nothing. ffs
