No, he's right. Double tapping W to sprint is just handicapped, and ctrl is sneak or crouch in 99% of PC games.

I've never played a game where ctrl is for crouching
ctrl is a better option for sprinting, and crouch should be shift

but double-tapping anything for sprint really is dumb. and I'm not so fond of the way you toggle flying either
