a fresh install replaces all missing default files

Okay, let me try to clarify:
In a fresh install, it will only download sound3 for the resources file for me. Nothing else, just the sound3 folder. There's a downloading problem that only downloads sound3.
I've also stated that this has been happening for a few mac users, so if you have a windows, you can't replicate this.

how to install:

1. download every mod
2. install correctly
3. black screen
4. repeat steps 2 and 3 until you give up
5. go look for modpacks that have all these mods
6. there are none
7.

1. download every mod aswell as Minecraft Forge
2. put minecraft forge into the minecraft.jar
3. put all the mods into the 'mods' folder in your .minecraft folder
4. play the game
