Anyone here play FTB unleashed?
I wanted to play a game today, but I got a million and a half lag spikes, so I couldn't get past building a stuffty rudimentary wood hut.

I'll have to install OptiFine later, or just update my lwjgl version.

Are you sure it spawned there and it didn't find a way in somewhere else?

Well, zombies rarely spawn more zombies when damaged out of sight. The interior, lit area might have been out of sight, so it happened... I'd have to see if the mechanic checks for light level, but I actually doubt it.

Fishing will be broken up between treasure, junk, and fish. Enchanting the fishing rod can change the odds of different rewards.

And he mentioned pufferfish, which would be used to make water breathing potions, and be extremely deadly if eaten raw.

if the missingpotion effects are being added, then 1.7 is officially the best update to minecrap in the history of minecrapping

So you mean:
Mining Fatigue
Water Breathing (Confirmed)
Blindness
Health Boost
Saturation

Everything else is given by some means in vanilla. Mining Fatique and Blindness definitely wouldn't make it in unless they overcomplicate brewing to have failures. Health Boost is odd, so I doubt they'd make it default. Saturation could be useful, but you actually get it from golden apples the more you eat.

Alright guys, I loving hate the new creeper AI's.

They just, loving come from a mile away and blow your stuff up. They also make no sound, and come out of no where.

Creepers didn't get the zombie tracking distance increase - That was zombies-only. Besides that, they act the same they've done since the AI overhaul. That's nothing new.

I mean, I hate the AI overhaul for the creepers.

I just.

Hate it.

Well they have basic AI, actually. Zombies have extreme tracking range, skeletons shoot faster the closer you get, and the most Creepers have is they avoid cats. Otherwise, they follow the same rules.

What I'm saying is, say you don't think Creepers should use the standard AI intelligence/be more visible and less able to maneuver. Just trying to clarify that the AI is actually still pretty lazy. He overhauled it so they aren't humping walls or similarly anymore, but besides attributes they add, the AI is still pretty crappy. (One thing I can note is the old AI took the Void into account, having mobs avoid walking into it. The new AI seems to count air blocks when calculating drops, and since the void doesn't have air blocks in it, it is essentially treated as a solid floor. Mobs will walk right into it if they wish to drop down for some reason.)

SNAPSHOT 13W36A!!!!!!!11

I hate the new launcher! I can't even expand my window without Minecraft crashing.

I think I remember seeing a huge difference in how the creepers climbed lol. They can climb better now.

That's for all mobs, Swat.

Well, these still generate, but nothing happens with them, yet. :(

Edit: And a temple at 504 71 169.

Edit2: The generation is still a bit wonky...

Edit3:

Edit4: There was a crazy mountain behind this, but whenever I went to take the picture, the mountain would start unloading itself. Also, the clouds cut right through this formation - I turned them off so you could actually see what was going on:

Edit5: Witch Hut:

Edit6: Village near the edge of the world (NOTE: Going to the exact edge seems to crash me. I'm heading there manually after teleporting a thousand blocks from it to see if it only crashes if it isn't loaded progressively, but I doubt it. Snapshot is dangerous.):

Edit7: Closer one:
