After spending 9 days myself here (i think its a bit unaccuarate..and I wish it kept track of the old forum too :P), I think I feel the same way.  Enough about that, more about retail!  Any details other than some I've already noticed?

No lag. This is a tower made of 2X2 blocks, many of which are transparent, and have flashy, shiny effects applied to them.


Fall damage is back in. Collisions are a bit messed up in the game, and you may randomly die, even at low speeds. It doesn't happen a lot. But here I died going up stairs, and I like to pretend that I died falling down stairs.


OMG prepare for liftoff!Q! If you press shift, the jet pushes you forward instead of up. Type /sit to sit, the press shift, then jet, and you will travel around sitting.

Also, Badspot's goal is to create an AoT-like version, where you just connect to the master server, so everyone can play. You probably won't be waiting too much longer.


I love this picture, and had to edit my post to add it. This uses the undulation/jello effect, the pearl effect, and transparent bricks to create a cool water effect.
