I got this idea while playing a Deathmatch. If somebody grenades you, understandably, you normally die. However, if you manage to hide and avoid the explosion, you can fool a person into thinking you're dead so that you can own them. Except not. People always know when you die because of whether or not the little icon pops up in the chat. It is impossible to fool people my pretending that you are dead. This isn't a huge deal in FPSes because there is always another target to focus on and nobody goes chasing people around, but in Blockland, I think it would add a lot more strategy if we could "play dead".
The basic idea is that you can bind a key to a function which causes an effect similar to being hit with the tranquilizer, and puts a fake icon for your death in the chat. You would play dead for a set amount of time where you are completely vulnerable (to balance it). This would allow you to fool attackers into thinking they have killed you, especially when they grenade large building that they know you are in. It can strategically fool an opponent into turning their back so that they can snipe you. I suppose this could be an item, but it would be less effective and interesting. Of course, this could be turned on and off using the minigame menu.
Good idea?
