Patrick is a conspirator.

Do you really think that Anti-Viral programs give virus' just so you have to buy them to remove it?
No, the sure as hell do not. Unless you got it off a torrent like an idiot.

Anti-Virus 2009 is infact the virus, delete it right now or you're pretty much screwed.

Why is this in drama?

I thought I told my bro this goes in off topic... And btw that probably isn't what Patrick said. He told my mom and mom told him. So it COULD be said wrong.

They need to put the people who made the Rouge "Antivirus" programs in jail for a long time.....

BitDefender Anti-Virus Software 2009
Not saying it's the best, but, people have rated it to be one of the most effective.

And yes. I have tried this "Anti-Virus 2009" mumbo jumbo, it sucks to be honest. Gave me multiple viruses, and totaly trashed my comp.
I forgot what company made it though... Maybe someone has already written a complaint to them about it...

Still have it from months ago :(

You missed the post where I said
I didn't think anyone actually fell for those...
The antivirus didn't give you a Trojan, it IS the Trojan.

I only download major softwares...

Avast, norton, Mcafee, others.

If the popup ever appears again once you have your new hard drive:

Right click your task bar then select task manager
Go to "Processes"
Look for "iexplore.exe" or "firefox.exe" if you are using firefox and click "Terminate" , click Yes when it asks if you are sure.

These popups arent your computer telling you theres a virus, its an alert disguised as an internet explorer popup window.

1. This isn't Drama.
2. You could've easily removed it but your "pro" friend here just did it the ol glorious way and got rid of all your stuff.
3. You're an idiot for downloading Anti-Virus 2009. Everyone knows it's a virus.

Actually, I'd have to say you're the idiot on this one.

Anti-virus 2009 is a trojan. Not what it claims to be. Do a quick Google search and you'll see what I'm getting at.

Or just click the back button then click X when it asks you to stay?

Can't click "Back" because the popup forces you to answer it.
