If they go that, they should allow some of us who are gifted to get ahead. It wouldn't make any difference to me though because I'm a senior next year. But honestly, treating every student equally is the worst idea the administration ever came up with. Every student is not equal and that is very clear to anyone who has passed elementary school. I believe that changes need to be made but more school is not the only answer. AP and honors classes offer chances for the smarter people to get ahead but students who fall behind never really fall behind even though they should remain at a grade level until they are damn well ready to proceed. It might motive some people anyway. If you don't want to repeat a year, you damn well better know your stuff.
