i had to make this for class


this picture actually took some work.
I physically took that picture of the sailboat and seagulls and traced it with the pen tool.
I found brushes that actually looked nice and used them in a creative way.

The boat looks really out of place like you just pasted it on there from a previous trace of the boat. That's probably what you did, but those waves are mighty fine.

I think it's just the bottom of the boat that looks out of place.
But that's alright, i still like it.

It's the colors that doe't match. Gotta adjust the colors of it. Remember the opposite rule. If a color isn't opposing enough, or isn't close enough to another color, then you need some other color or blending effect to get it to look good in between. Change the hue of the light blue objects, as well as the blue textures on the bottom, and it will probably fix the picture.

Just some suggestions.

The waves kind of look more like fire then water, and the boat looks like it was just pasted there, maybe brush out a bit of the bottom of the boat is it looks like its actually in the scene/water.
