Hold the button down halfway, it should auto focus. and then press it fully down when its done auto focusing

We drove a couple streets down today to watch some balloons lift off at the world's largest hot-air balloon festival. The pictures aren't exactly amazing since I don't have Adio's telephoto lens... Also it was pretty dirty. I hope someone appreciates them, anyway though, it's a pretty interesting event.
I'm going down to the field tonight to, hopefully, watch the 'balloon glow' (there's some information about it on the Wikipedia page and I shouldn't be needing such a lens for that). I'll make sure to clean my camera before then.
