Author Topic: TF2 external idlers get stuff removed  (Read 19647 times)

I think valve was a little harsh with the punishment they gave out, but it was fair...
pls 2 give me halo
Hah! That wasn't harsh at all!  At least you could keep your fair items!

Marcem, do you even own the loving game?

Here, let me compare this to something.

You complain of losing the money you earned when you robbed the bank.

So far i'm hearing "idler doesnt improve  your chances, so i'm gunna use it anyways." If it doens't help why did you peop;e use it at all?

No, I don't actually.  But I know what's fair and what's not.

I believe this is completely fair. That's all I'm going to say, I'm getting in no arguement. This is my last post in this topic.

Yuki, you don't seem to understand what I was meaning by playing, I meant having the game booted and on a server.
I already went over that you can idle through this method.
MAKE YOU ABLE TO GET THE loving WEAPONS IN THE FIRST PLACE ISN'T CHEATING.
I already EARNED all of my weapons the FAIR way, not through some bullstuff dice roll.

The brown townogy doesn't fit. By using an idler or by idling, you aren't taking anything from anyone else, and you didn't "earn" anything anyway.

"I can't play the game while I sleep, I  turn it on before I go to bed"
But I know what's fair and what's not.
Obviously not. Chance isn't fair.

If you don't own the game, this issue doesn't affect you.

You made it sound like it improved your chances.

You made it sound like it improved your chances.
It obviously didn't, all it did was log your client into a server.

I idled once, and I did not get anything removed or did not get a halo. I'm set. but still, warning would've been better. I mean, they even had an email that said they didn't care and they would do nothing about it.
Way to Spy Facestab the community.

Link 2 email pls

also, a warning would have been nicer, saying that if you use the idler past a set date, you would lose your items.
However, this punishment was fair to an extent.

If they warned players, no one would have used the idler. People used it under the impression that valve didn't care.

Haha, you guys.

You should have known doing something that isn't included in the game would have consequences, I have no pity for you unless your items were taken and you didn't idle.

I'll just be over here with my Aura of Incorruptibility.
