When is the buddy list going to be available?

When you don't have to work around stupid phpBB or stupid WordPress it makes it a lot easier to implement features nicely, so building this website entirely from nothing means it'll be the best one yet for sure.
Why didn't you do this in the first place?

When is the buddy list going to be available?

That'll be included in v4 of RTB which has no release date yet.

Why didn't you do this in the first place?

The needs of RTB v2 were just for a downloads system so there was no point developing an entire website when it would be relatively easy to build a phpBB plugin for it. The needs of RTB have evolved since then and it's no longer workable to have all the different functionality we offer centered around the forums.

Server ratings would likely not be based on player input, but more on the player's actions and server activity.
Doesn't that kind of system exist already? Players online that is...
?
To determine a servers activity, the easiest way is to see how many players are online. If there's a lot of players, then there's a high activity, and vice versa.

Server activity as I define it is comprised of more than just the number of players on it. I won't go into detail on how I'd be calculating server ratings for obvious reasons.

I'll read it later when you release it...  :cookieMonster:

Server ratings would be calculated on the RTB server so you won't be able to read that.

D'oh!

Btw... While we're at it... I think you've got some reports on that some add-ons wont update for some strange reason. Now it is the same for RP Content.

File reports go to file report hell, emailing the author works better.

This is no wrong with the add-on itself, but the system that announce the user about the update and tells the user to update.

We don't have a bug reporting feature so I don't know where I'd find these reports. Maybe you should post them in here.

I'm too lazy to see if this question was already asked -_- And I Feel stupid for asking it too...

If you are going to add someone to your friends list, Do Both of you have to have RTB? OR will the player still show up on your list even if they do not have RTB? I Have a feeling I already know -_-

You won't actually be able to add people who don't have RTB. This is because the accounts for the IM system are created when you first use RTB and without having an account people obviously cannot add you.

Maybe they already have. Then I'll report this as a bug for some add-ons that have been updated but not announced as updated.

Announced as updated?

Due to a limitation/oversight in the system design, when you update an add-on it will replace the file with the new version and increase the version number but won't notify people about it until a reviewer approves the changes. It's an annoyance I plan to address in the refactoring of the v4 download system.
