Hey Ephi, in V4 are you going to make it so that Blockland add-ons are automatically synched with the RTB system? Or does it already do that?

I ask this because sometimes when I join a server even if I download everything listed in the server info there're still some non-music/sound add-ons I have to download during loading.

Unless people actually submit those files to RTB then there's no way we can provide them for download via the server information.

Announced as updated?

Due to a limitation/oversight in the system design, when you update an add-on it will replace the file with the new version and increase the version number but won't notify people about it until a reviewer approves the changes. It's an annoyance I plan to address in the refactoring of the v4 download system.
The add-on is updated, approved, but does not note about it to people.

Yeah this is an oversight in the updater. People can update manually by clicking the update button in the YourMods tab.

You have to make it so people are forced to update their add-ons before starting.

make an Update all butten

Or like it was before: When an update is approved, and the user start BL, there will be a note about the update and prompt of to update or not.

It was not always working...

It used to work initially when people had very few add-ons, It's related to an issue with timing which I overlooked so RTB doesn't know about all the add-ons you have before it sends a list to the API for a list of updates.

Why dont you lock rtb for some days then?

The only difference between RTB users and parasites, is that parasites dies after a while if they loose their host.

Why are you still posting in this thread? Your intelligence is nowhere near the level required to understand simple english, let alone partake in meaningful discussion.

Why are you comparing our users to parasites?

With the surge of new bricks being put onto RTB I've decided to go ahead with a minimal RTB v3.4 update. This will contain a couple of fixes for pertinant issues (add-on updating mainly, and one long-standing IRC bug) with the main addition being server content downloading. I'll hope to have this ready for internal testing in about 2 weeks time.

If you didn't understand it, then I meant that they are stuck in RTB and probably wont leave it even if it closes down.

How do we leave an add-on?
