Can we access the IM from the RTB site?

No, RTB will have an in-game IM client and alternatively you can access the RTB IM system from outside of Blockland using a program like Pidgin or Psi (there will be a form you have to fill out in order to set a password for your IM account for external access).

Make something where it shows how many addons from the server so far are downloaded. A lot of people ask how long the load is and it would help if they knew how much more files they needed to load.

Or maybe instead of one bar saying what is downloading, have two bars.
One that shows overall progress, and the other showing current download progress.

Letting people insert their ugly pictures into my lovely GUIs makes them not so lovely anymore. It's also why we don't allow custom avatars on the RTB forums.

Anyway this talk of avatars in the IM system is fruitless so if anyone has any questions regarding other proposed features, let's have them.

It would be cool if you could use a model of the player for an avatar.

The new RTB site isn't exactly going to have avatars. I'm hopefully going to sort out some sort of system so your profile picture will be your character's appearance.

It's possible with an object view control. It's how the avatar in the avatar selection works.

EDIT: Could you possible have the server they're currently playing on underneath their name, similar to steam?

I didn't include join server notifications, but it sounds like a decent idea.
