It's also worth noting at this point that you won't be able to have two people logged into an RTB Connect account. There is one account per ID and that account may only be used by one person at a time.

What exactly will happen if you try? Failure to log in on the second? Kick the first one off to allow the second one on?
I often use multiple Blocklands to test out my scripts if I can't get a friend to help me, and I need to know how this affects that.

It will prevent the second user from logging in until the first one logs out.

Hmm. Does that mean that, when the first logs out, the other will log in on the next connection retry? Instantly? If you ask it to manually? Could be weird having it background connect... Meh. I'm just making smalltalk.

When Connect comes out, will it be possible to edit the GUI?
The way you do with the regular BL GUI now, except in the .zip folder in which RTB is held?

Depends, why?

On another note, I'm thinking of a new feature for the downloads system which is "file locking".

One of the issues with RTB's moderation system is that if someone submits a broken update for a file it will be instantly distributed to all the users after it's been approved. Mod Reviewers don't actually ensure the add-on works before approving them - downloading each file and trying it in-game would be way too time consuming for all the files getting submitted to us.

File locking would enable us to totally disable the add-on for all RTB users as well as prevent it from being downloaded until the author has fixed the file. Once it was fixed it could be used in-game and downloaded again.

Because, I'm pretty sure I'll want to customize it.

You'll have a hard time, most of it is generated through code. Besides, it's beautiful already!

On the demonstrating picture I see a clock by Kaje and a negative by entrepreneur in, what is this? Also what does the A button at the top do?

That picture there was actually a mock-up. The clock means the user is "away" and the "negative sign" used to mean "busy" but I've since changed it to mean "blocked".

The A button was going to be font customization but I've ditched that idea.

Well I must say this seems great and I can't wait for the beta!

Okay, I'll see if it's beautiful enough when it comes out.

But one question, how do you make the images with code?

Er, you can see pictures of it here: http://returntoblockland.com/?p=214

Images are obviously images. You can go ape replacing them.

In this picture, what does the "Info" button do?

I would think it would show where the person is.

In this picture-image-, what does the "Info" button do?
Next step functionality-wise is the "Information Card" (accessed by clicking a friend then the Info button) which will show a bunch of details about the user, where they are, and maybe a picture of them as suggested earlier in the thread. It could also supply a history of names much like the "View Aliases" functionality in the Steam Chat incase one of your friends changes their name. I'll also be integrating support for the blocking/unblocking functionality I added to the chat server earlier.
