Your name will be your ingame name, so you can't impersonate somebody unless you have their name.

Yes - although at this stage I can't think of any sort of benefits of this. Perhaps notifications in-game if you get a new private message or something - I have no idea.

I'm re-writing the forums at some point anyway. I hate phpBB with a passion and I find it way too bloated with stupid features - I spend most of my time ripping useless code out of it to make it go faster.

Nope. All users and add-ons will move over seamlessly to the new system. The only thing we'll lose are posts but they're all so irrelevant and useless that I don't think anyone will miss them.

I'll give lots of notice about this before it happens so people who submitted tutorials etc. can re-submit them to the new forums.

1. Would banned users be able to join back? (I hate Russle, Mr. Top Hat, ect)
2. Will this be released before Blockand is gone.
3. Will we be able to PM?
4. Will there be 4.X
5. Will the Print Glich be fixed?
and 6. Will there ever be an update to 1.045

We're doing some general server maintenance. There are some kernel updates to put in place and a few other major software updates. Downtime shouldn't be huge, just a little here and there.
