Halo has among its many fans: tweens, frat boys, and poorly educated/impoverished people. These sorts of people cannot play TF2 or L4D properly because they cannot afford or operate a gaming PC. Sure lots of handicaps manage to play TF2 and L4D, but the barrier to entry is higher and that eliminates a certain underclass.
That's strange. The cost of Xbox Live, plus the Xbox and stuff will add up to more than the cost of a computer good enough to play TF2 and L4D. I've seen my fair share of those kind of people in all places. Halo is more of a casual game. You don't have to be intelligent and an starfish at the same time. Anyone can enjoy anything if they understand it, and know how to get what they like from it.
you seem to be fine with weapons from other games in blockland.
Because you keep bringing it up (the hate, I mean). Look in the games section, there's a ODST discussion going on right now. People don't hate Halo "just because", they hate annoying fanboys who worship the game like it's the greatest thing of all time, or ruin online play by playing "elitist prick" and yelling words like "POWN" into the microphone. I insta-perma-ban all "Master Chief" variants on my server.
I can't really understand you when you talk like you have half a brain.Grammar, please.
