A Bubbler might be possible, depends on how it's done. You can't change a projectile's direction once it's been fired so I'm not sure how you'd get them to follow you...

Also, ontopic: Made it to Ballos but with 1 hp and no potion. Got him about halfway down without getting hit, then bam I died. I bet he has more than one form though.

I did just about the same thing :c

And Space, about the Bubbler, Rky had a gun that fired a projectile, then when you fired again looking another way, it would go in that direction.

Yeah. That would spawn another projectile going the new direction. Probably fine for shooting the white lightning thing when you release them but not for having ten to twenty bubbles changing direction every hundred milliseconds.

Noes, Cave Story is best indie pixel...thing out there. For those stuck on hell, I used Nemesis spam from me and Quote to clear the way and Spur for the occasional Mesa. Then Super-Missle raped Heavy Press, and raped Ballos with Spur + Missles.
