forget, console commands ruins the game. If you're not going to play it right, don't bother playing it at all.

Oblivion came first my good sir.
I wasn't being sarcastic lol.

Yes but that means Fallout3 is exactly like Oblivion, except it's all futuristic and stuff.

no oblivion is like medieval grand theft auto

The only reason TES IV:Oblivion is like Fallout 3 is because they are both made by Bethesda Studios...

I've played it but I don't have it.  I have Morrowind though.

i play this a lot and i love it.
im level 100 (any1 can ask me how i did it)exactly
made a spell that can kill pretty much anything.
most quests done
almost all daedric shrines done
and im in full Perfect Madness Armor

The open endedness and the playstyle is practically the same. Albeit there are many differences, if there weren't it would just be another elder scrolls game. But if you can't see any similarities you've never played them both.

fallout 3 new stuff = VATS, guns, weapon making, vaults, radio, RADIATION, dismemberment, grenades.
TESIV new stuff = guards, staffs, enchanting, mounts, factions, blunt weapons, alchemy, bow and arrows, types of arrows and bows, soul gems, spells, house(s), bounty, oblivion gates, potions and poisons. EDIT: daggers, detect life, telekinesis, daedra and daedric things.DOUBLE EDIT: wabbajack, poison apples, death by weightless hoods, frenzy spells :D, VAMPIRES, thieves guild, dark brotherhood, main quest, that quest called WHODUNNIT?, and finally, dungeon crawling.
(I think you know where i am going with this.)

most of the stuff like VATS was taken from the old fallout games

Albeit there are many differences,

Did you miss that or something? Goddamn.

A lot of the things you mention are different only in name and appearance, not in function.

Also you could do the same with similarities as well.

Oblivion and Fallout 3:
Open ended, cities are a whole new map, can take pretty much anything you damn well please, minigames for doing things (in particular, lockpicking), the ability to kill anyone who isn't a main character, character customization, a bunch of the skills are very similar, they both have night and day cycles, they are both made by bethesda, they both have ranged weaponry, they both have close combat weaponry, they both have "doomsday" themes (however, Oblivion's doomsday is current, Fallout 3's doomsday is post-doomsday), and if I wasn't constricted by time I could probably post more.
