Author Topic: Help deciding: PS3 or 360?  (Read 3399 times)

Protip: Graphics don't make the game. Gran Turismo has always been a very boring, mediocre series.
The PSP version sucks also.

Here is something I used when deciding: What system do more of my friends have. It's no fun buying a Xbox when all your friends have Ps3 or vice versa.
It's half and half, for the most part.

Buy the system that your best friends have.

Still, I'm sorta into the PS3 for some exclusives.

I read but you said "Which more of your friends have" some friends however are not fun to play with or you would want a certain group of people to play with.

They aren't really your friends then.

No they just can't play for stuff. :3

now that I think about how l4d2 is only for the 360, I'm still split :c

Yes Valve games are only on Xbox, but you can get them on your computer anyways. Where Uncharted, LBP, and others exclusive to the PS3 aren't.

I have a stuff computer, as far as gaming goes.

The opinion of someone on getting a PS3 for themselves who already owns an xbox is relevant how?
He found a way to make it relevant.

Low settings = <3

I have a PS3, and I like it. I've played an Xbox 360, and I liked it.

All that it really comes down to is whether you're willing to pay for online play (or not for PS3), and if one console has exclusives you want that the other doesn't have. It's pointless to argue about how the controller feels, or whether the graphics are better than the other. You're looking for gameplay options.

So, imo, PS3.

Ps3:
$300, Bluray, 120GB or 250GB for $50 more, free online, built in wifi.

Xbox 360: $200, no HDD or $100 more for 120GB possibly $250/$200 for 60GB, online is $50 a year, wifi adapter is extra $100, online has more features, HDMI included with some consoles, you need to pay for almost everything, from name changes, to avatar clothing, to gamer pictures.

L4D1 and L4D2 weren't on PS3 because, EA handles alot of the development on Valve games for PS3.
