I was on a server (map was 2fort) with a demo who had the shield and the sword, he had teamed up with a medic. The game ended when the whole red team left because it was impossible to kill these two off.
IMO; the demo shouldn't get the full effect of the medics medigun while wearing the combination of these two items and be totally immune to the ÜberCharge.
Or they should replace that stuff with something that doesn't break the game.
They need to nerf the targe and huntsman.
K guys, lets try to remember that this replaces the sticky launcher. While I will admit targe and eyelander demomen are annoying, it's not the end-all be-all replacement for normal demoman play.
Solutions:
Play scout, heavy, sniper or engineer.
-I know you all love your soldier play and would never re-equip the shotgun for the world, but for the love of god if he's resistant to everything except bullets,
USE BULLETS. Fight fire with fire
-If he's eyelanding you, use your melee. If he's using grenades, get a decent airblaster.
Medics.
-If he has a medic, maybe your team needs medics.
A more basic tip:
If a medic is healing your opponent, kill the medic first. This may seem silly (if you don't know what the word "heal" means) but it's what you have to do.
Also, maybe you don't want to get so close to the guy with the big sword. Maybe you want to get somewhere where he can't charge you so easy. Maybe you want to strike while his charge is cooling down. Maybe you want to learn2airblast.
But it all comes down to this:

Which basically is just a big glaring "what the forget do you think you're doing".
On a side note: breaking the game is strong terminology, and I don't think
Yuki has enough sense to be using it it's late enough into the update to be saying that.
