I have officially lost every single ounce of respect I had for harmonix. They've turned into a giant sellout, first lego rockband (which really wasn't a bad game, just a little out there) then this.

Green Day has some good songs, so quit your bitching. At least they're not doing some classic, overrated band like Metallica, and instead a more modern band.

They have no good songs whatsoever.
Also I absolutely hate it when someone uses "overrated". It's like the shortcut to developing an actual argument because it's so hard to fight; Not because it's valid, but because it doesn't really mean anything. It's just saying "I don't like ____ so here's another word to make it look like I have a solid argument".

Furthermore, classic is where it's at. I've already written about this new age of bullstuff music and whatnot recently, and Green Day is near the top of the bands I wish would quite literally die.

Now, I honestly though Green Day had FINALLY faded into obscurity, so I wouldn't have to hear "American Idiot" anymore. loving christ the song drives me absolutely batstuff. This game is sure to revive it. There is no god.

No. Modern music is good, if not better than it was before. Your opinions are just as meaningless as mine are, so keep your stuff counterarguements up your ass. Green Day has good songs, that aren't popular at all. Metallica does too, I'm just sick of every 13 year old loving them because of One being on GH3. It's getting annoying with them making classic-rock Rock Band/Guitar Heros right and left.
