Author Topic: Where would your 'Alamo' be in a zombie outbreak?  (Read 6399 times)

I read a book called "The Zombie Survival Guide" it says the best place to be is on an oil rig.
Well I have read the book also and they didn't really say it was the best place, besides the oil rigs would be very important once the goverment kicks back in and in the book if you remember they said to stay away from the goverment.

how would they get contact? Your in the middle of the ocean. Every worker there has been turned into a zombie and killed...

Well first if all how would all the workers get turned into zombies when zombies can't get there In the first place. And clearly there would be many people going off to sea in large boats and maybe even fleets of people. Soon or later there would be goverment ships trying to gain control and lead and orginoze these ships. At this point is where you would have issues; obviously oil would be scarce and an oil rig is a supply for it. Now you need the oil for jennys and heat while they need oil for their ships . They would seek these rigs out and, let's face it, they can't be that hard to find if you have a goverment type map. So the you have an issue of a ship needing the oil and you needing the oil and a big ship will get what they want because there is power in numbers.

They are zombies caused by disease. They're brains stop working but thier body still works... It can't learn anything...
Their brains are still functional, the brain controls everything, including movement and their predatory instinct. They just can't think or learn.

I've read the book as well.

I would go to Fort Carson, and then see if I can get inside Cheyenne Mountain. That place is impenetrable, and I'm sure supplies would be huge, considering the place can be locked up in case of nuclear attack.

I'd go to my local home depot, it has tons of hardware plus the members section is full of food and water. As soon as i can though i'd head for the Costco near me. It has several years worth of food and supplies and is easily defendable considering there are about 4 entrances counting the loading areas. And it has a firearms section.
Do they have 40 packs of M9s?

Can I go where the wild things are?

I would go to City 17, it's safer there.

I'll fly to the moon, and eat all the cheese.

They still can't climb it.
You know what, your guy's zombies loving suck and are complete pussies.
If your kind of zombies started popping up everything would be contained in under a week.
Zombies that are actually capable of doing stuff would be much more interesting.

Ladios deserves a gold medal.

You wouldn't need that many pistols, and Glocks > M9s.

I'll take a Browning M1911 anyday over the Beretta M9.

anywhere in southern SC
they have guns everywhere
