Stupid NPC's

Ever had a run-in with a bot or NPC that really irks you how stupid it is?

I just did while playing Left 4 Dead a few minutes ago. I was near the end of a level, and there was a rush of zombies. I shot maniacally, accidentally startling a witch. I shot at it while running backwards, trying to reach the safe room which was right there, but she ended up getting to me first. I waited for my NPC teammates to help, but I looked over and they were all standing in the safe room, waiting for me while I was clearly incapacitated. I died and had to start the level over. /ragequit

I guess I should play with people instead. :V

     I agree.  At the end of Dark Carnival Ellis watched my entire team get mauled by zombies (and a tank) while he stood motionless in the chopper.

     Also in HL2, my troops (in "follow freeman!") pretty much blocked me against a combine shield while they were behind me.  Combines were coming out too.

Your allies dive in front of you for no particular reason. Especially when you're having fun at the time. Mind you, other than that, they're pretty good.

I was in a L4D2 versus match tonight and the other team kept whining about how I had 2 AI that kept shooting them down five seconds after they spawned.
