Anyhow, i still love how the new combat shotgun works. :3
Though i am still sad about the loss of the swirling RPG projectile.

Relatedly, I'm tempted to poke scripts for T+T and Frog to see if I can update details for Froggy's stuff to the new T+T stuff. Even though I hasn't done scripting before, kinda worth it >_>;

If changing damage, mag size, range, HP, and velocity counts, then I've scripted a little before.


I've noticed that the Classic B. Rifle fires in a very wide spread, while the normal Battle Rifle simply fires an arcing stream of bullets.


Is this intentional?

Only thing I was thinking was cosmetic fixes/updating the code to match the new updates. Make the Smoke/Impact Grenade work off Grenade Bag, change instances of 10x18mm to 9mm, fix the 'clips load remaining ammo on reload towards end of ammo stock', and so on.

As for the Easter Eggs, check Server.cs of Tier 2 or 2A. If you can find the part where it mentions the Scoped Magnum, it'll tell ya all ya need to know beyond what packs to look for them in :P

Rename SYRINGE_GUN.dts to GAUZE_GUN.dts

Rename SYRINGE_GUN.dts to GAUZE_GUN.dts

i used an unused model's name in the server.cs of one of the tier packs and it never changed, idk if they're the same or what.

What would you folks recommend as a weapon for a medic class?

My Field Medic loadout for the MAS server is currently sitting at:

Gauze Gun (modified Medpack to make it damage enemy teams and heal allies, lessened healing slightly)
Nailgun (essentially SMG)
Crowbar (Melee)
Tranqulizer R (special weapon)

Depending on how self-tanky you want your medics you can give them the Syringe, but the general gist is you want your players to actively HEAL thier buddies, and not just syringe themselves with ALL the drugs and tank the game to hell. As a result, Gauze Gun and/or Syringe combined with a SMG/Machine Pistol/Duel Pistol works moderately well, as they got a fallback weapon that way.

Thanks, I'll remember to enable the Nail Gun, just in case.


I also plan to give the medic class a regenerating health playertype.
