As would make sense, given that you don't have a client. Time to go look up the Big List 'O Console Commands...

Thanks, guys.

Thank you, Odd. So does that mean that the normal set of console commands works with this window?

Help / Blockland Code Window commands?
« on: December 23, 2010, 08:45:51 PM »
When you open blockland, there are two windows that appear, one is where the game is played, the other is the background stuff. I recently made a dedicated server and noticed that people's chat appeared in this box, even after I had left. Is there any way for me to talk through it, without having blockland actually open?

Read the rules. Rule 1, specifically.

Help / Dedicated Game Mode not working...
« on: December 22, 2010, 09:00:51 PM »
I'm trying to start a CityRPG dedi. I've spent a lot of effort setting everything up and I finally went to start the dedicated and.... It didn't recognize that I had the gamemode on. It worked perfectly, except it acted as if I didn't even have the mod. It's the only game mode currently in my addons folder...

You could get her Minecraft, maybe. :u
No blocky games.

We have Minecraft and it's awesome. She just doesn't like blocky things. Girls are weird.

Is she 7 or something?
Serious question.
...

15, she just doesn't play videogames. Really at all. However, she requested a game with the stated criteria namely for the sake of becoming more accustomed to working within a 3D environment.

Hmm. Not bad. I took a look and Fallout could work. Though reviews say that it would be best to wait before getting NV.

Katamari Damacy looked really good and I've heard a lot about it. Then I realized it was only for Playstation. I am disappoint.

Games / Need Game Advice - PC
« on: December 20, 2010, 12:55:24 PM »
I'm looking to buy a PC game as a present for someone I know, but am having a few problems.

Criteria:
Must be in a 3D virtual environment where you must make movement and tactical decisions in real time
MMOs are frowned upon
Excessive gore is a no-no
It would be nice if the premise were anything but just shooting people.
Time period (Modern, fantasy, etc.) doesn't really matter
No blocky games. (Yes, I know this is blockland. The irony police must be after me already. (And yes, I love blockland, the person just doesn't like blocky things.))

She already has Oblivion and Spore, which were both decent. Portal fits the criteria perfectly, but was a little too intense for her right now.

Thanks in advance.

991.
follow the manger into the bathroom  :cookieMonster:
We've already gone to 1000. And due to my unwillingness to edit my previous post, we have duplicates of 975-991.

Perhaps we should start choosing winners?

Answer this.
Nice bump.
And okay.

We do have one.Kind of large but not laggy.
...

That's not a question, that's a statement. Are you referring to the pelican? If so, we were looking for something a tad different.
