Off Topic / Book suggestions?

Hey guys. I have to pick a book for my 4th quarter book report. The criteria is as follows:

• Published before 1945 or written about an american who died before 1945
• "American work of literature"
• Fiction
• At least 200 pages

I can't find a website that has a book filter with these kinds of options, so do you guys have any suggestions?
Edit: Looking at Great Expectations by Charels richardens, but I'd like something more space-y. Like science fiction.
Maybe War of the Worlds? It isn't American, but maybe I can sneak it past her. Might as well bring just in case.

Off Topic / Phone is kaput, Android device recommendations?

So my phone took a one foot drop from my lap to the floor. The crack was so unnoticeable that I put it into my pocket. When I  went to unlock it, the bottom half of the screen where the crack is will not respond to touch.

I would ask what a good budget phone is, but I havent had service on my G2 in months. So instead, what is a good stand alone android device? I was thinking the nexus 7.

I may end up replacing the screen if its cheap enough.

Off Topic / Easy switching of audio devices

So I have a monitor connected to my laptop via HDMI. The connected one is my main monitor, the laptop is stowed away in a corner acting as a tower. I still use the laptop headphone jack for my earbuds, but my monitor also has speakers. When I unplug the headphones, the laptop speakers output sound instead of my monitor.

I know how to switch playback devices, but is there a way to tell my computer to automatically switch to HDMI audio if no jack is in the plug?

Why is Bushido in an administrative position if he is doing this? Wrapperup was in the server the whole time as well.

Off Topic / Question about TrueCrypt file container attributes.

If I create a standard container, throw whatever in there and then try to open it on another computer that has true crypt, will it work if I have the correct password?

I ask because I want to create mobile/backups of my containers.

So I joined Ravencroft's Trench TDM earlier today and had a fun time. After running errands, I come home and go back into the server. Within 5 seconds, I was permabanned with no reason. I asked Raven, via Sos who was in the server, why I was banned, and Raven said:

Playing fortwars and destroying everyone so bad that I get permad.

Killing everyone so hard that the 3-4 people in the server teamed up against me (and Sos)
My friend (Sos) got permad too. The host was using jets and spawnkilling against us, so we changed our datablock as well to assault him. I used heavy flamer, the permaban.

Off Topic / Cat fleas?

Hey guys, so my cat has fleas.

I first noticed little black dots on my cat's neck and he was scratching himself excessively. I tried to pick out the "dirt", but I didn't get much out without ripping clumps of hair out. I went to WalMart and bought a flea comb, and when I combed the problem area, there was so much black stuff that the beige comb had black teeth by the time I was done. I looked closer, and there were 4-5 live fleas!

I had also bought some cat shampoo and I just got done giving my cat a bath, he's licking himself now.

What can I do to get rid of the fleas around the house? I know I got rid of the fleas on him, but there are always more.

Hey guys this isn't really a topic to promote my server, it's for ban appeals. I've been banning people like crazy this week because they just seem to ignore my endless warnings. RTB IRC was removed so people can't contact me there.

Feel free to ask to be unbanned here. I have Skype and Steam, if it is a complicated situation, post your contact info and we'll talk there.

We are currently using the weapon packs: Teir, Frogs and WarHammer. Edited these packs to remove Hammers sit weapons, Frogs vulcan and Teirs LMG's because they change your datablock.
