This is coming from the company who hasn't changed their controller design in like 15 years.

It ain't broke. Why fix it?

no kidding lol.

just because it took the other companies many tries and generations to end up with a super clone of the PS controller

Because it's fine as it is?

The PC has been a keyboard and mouse since the 90s, and no one's complained.

The PS controller is horrible, but I've gone over this a hundred times and I'm not gonna argue it. Essentially, I think the gamecube controller was the most well-fit controller, but too flimsy and made of that stuffty plastic. The 360 controller, while not perfection, is very comfortable, and durable. Everything feels responsive and well-conformed. Not made out of that cheap Japanese plastic, or at least it appears that way. The Wii is just a stupid controller altogether.
Furthermore, the controllers weren't "tries", they were changes. Developments in technology required different things, and engineers created different ideas. It's called progress.

The dreamcast controller seems very conformtable.  :cookieMonster:

Say what?

PS had the double stick, 4 button, double triggers.
then the others all followed suit

PS didn't change because it had what worked from the start
even the nintendo eventually did with the game cube.
xbox made an exact copy of the ps controller YEARS after it was being used.

The Playstation controller is fine. I prefer it over a 360 controller. It has more of a classic feel to it, the 360 controller is too fat and I hate the fact that the one that comes with your 360 runs with batteries. Yes I know you can buy a chargable one, but my PS3 came with 2 wireless chargable controllers.

In my opinion, the N64 controller feels the best. Especially for racing.

Also, this was my PS1 controller that came with my PS1. :o

Most of them had to do that because of the 3D levels. How else would you rotate the cam around your character (I think I'm actually walking in the dark here right now because the R and L button were for rotating around in most games and on the most consoles)?

that's fine, but they could have done anything.
your only making MY point of the copy cats.

xbox fan boys think they have such an original console.

at least nintendo pretends it can reinvent the industry, even if its stuffty

I guess that means Sony copied Nintendo, because the N64 had the first brown townog stick (if we're only talking about the big 3, of course).

Imagine if Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft would make a console together!

edit:
that's fine, but they could have done anything.
Why change something conformtable to something that would be a pain in the ass for our hands?

Apple should make a console.

no it didn't, even your wiki there explains that.
dumb ass.

also we are not talking about who had the first brown townog. your missing the point completely.
even the 64 didn't have dual stick for modern 3d motion control. the 64 even had games coming out that used the yellow dpad to move cam. very awkward and already outdated.

yuki fail

Pong had brown townog first  :cookieMonster:
