No, I didn't have it, too much whining over it.

Well that's a shame.

Taking a break from mapping to do some modeling, which I find a much more satisfying creative venue.

I think it looks better without materials. :o

can someone give me a link to a program to make 3d maps and stuff, if you dont know of one, dont say anything

i would really appreciate it :nes:

Hammer. It's kind of free. You need to own some Source engine game that comes with the Source SDK. It clarifies whether or not any given game has the Source SDK if you look down in the lower right corner of the game page. If it says "Includes Source SDK" then, well, you get the picture.

I Love the house map you did :o

marcem, you use hammar correct? If so, how do you put it in blockland?

I use a very weird way of exporting, I go from a dev textured set of brushes in Hammer, port to QuArK, save as .map, open in Constructor, texture it, then export as legacy dif.

Is anyone else having troubles compiling for Alien Swarm?  I can't seem to compile.

Hammer in blockland... I've never thought of trying that :o

I have been grounded so I have no work done on my building (I'm going to make It some sort of factory or industrial building) so sucks to be me

An alien swarm map I'm working on. This is the end of the first level WIP.

In quark, how do you save it as a .map?

If you switch games to torque, it allows that format.
