bisjac, how do you control villages? conquer them and make them do what you want or else?
i exploit villages for labor and items.
if they dont actively trade back and forth, with anything at all we could need.
then we tear down every gate, and rebuild our own in its place, faster then they can even notice.
we break every container they have, dropping everything to the ground to disappear.
we claim their mine(s)
and anyone online we swiftly kill. its really not hard.
all in an evening. if they dont up and leave out of frustration, we return the next day.
i dont let them rebuild and regroup.

the ones that do get in line, depend on me for metals. the mines they use to own, i allow them an allowance of ore.
they jump when i tell them they have a new enemy. and they join us on our next village invasion.
however, all villages or camps are trashed and abandoned, or our "friend" now.
so things have been getting quiet an hour in every direction.
we still make our rounds to check up on them. make sure they are still feeling friendly.
make sure the gates we made for them still work, and the weapons we let them have arent of higher Q then they need.
