Why? All the people in the village are trusted. The thief set up a camp up north.

i add many people that arent even villagers.

you dont want nearby friends to have all the rights of a villager.
basically i left default white be any random friends. no rights.

green is villagers, tresspassing and theft
red enemies, no rights.

but real men call upon villages that arent his own, and send them into war.
you would be surprised how willing people can be when they fear you more then their assigned enemy.

they would earn favors from the great TOH village, for just ratting out conspiracies of banding together.

well unless a player has at least 50 base str, AND at least 100 melee, they wont stand a chance against any of a dozen of us. Q90 steel equip, and this discomfort from not having killed someone in at least a week.

a dozen chumps attacking us is just fodder to paint the ground with.
and any actually skilled person we have ever met, come in lots of 1 at a time.

can find some as taproot             *easiest for low skills
can make some from leather     *best for good quality
can grow some from hemp       *best for large ammounts
can grow some from flax
can make some from silk
can make some from wool
