Author Topic: The Passing for L4D2 is out! R.I.P Bill :(  (Read 41405 times)

The Passing sucked ass
what

it was the only L4D2 campaign that actually felt dark like L4D

Think of the possibilites.

It was all boring except for the very beginning. By "interactions", I assumed the old guys would be bots, more dialouge, or even a finishing cutscene.

But no, all we got was about 2 minutes total of them talking to eachother, beginning and end combined.

Dark? Like L4D?
The only part that felt even remotely close to L4D was inside the sewer. Gameplaywise, that was the most fun in The Passing. Everything else just felt like a raining version of The Parish.

Why would there be a finished cutscene, it's a campaign.

The entire campaign was really dark, and I even heard some music from L4D. L4D was night for all the campaigns and everything was dark. Dark as in like, not very lighted if you couldn't tell.

it sucked ass
everyone expected something better
like, 8 player coop
or survivor bots
or stuff

Someone post a pic of bill's dead body plzzzz

Was The Passing free or did you have to pay for it?

Even if it is just a campaign, it's the first campaign where 2 groups of survivors meet up. And more than that, they were both playable at some point in the L4D games. They should have emphasized this, instead of making it just "hey, go lower this bridge for us", and ending the campaign right after that.

Really dark? Hardly. There were a couple of parts that were dark, but for the most part, everything was just like it was in Hard Rain.

The Passing sucked.
