Author Topic: Grandfather died  (Read 21261 times)

I haven't had any grandfathers since 2007 when my grandfather on my dad's side died from polio. On my mom's side, my grandfather died from a painful and bleeding ulcer (ew).

Ay' bud. This topic is a little to sentimental for my tastes.

Also, no one cares?

Ignoring Oasis, my Granddad died when I was 6... I didn't shead a tear because I knew he was old an probably had mesothelioma. He died around 9/11.

Death is a joke.

For thousands of years, man has killed, and has been killed. Then they just get themselves burned into a little pile of ashes, or buried into the ground. I personally think we should take corpses, and use them as fuel to power our homes. I mean, thousands die weekly, correct? And if we keep thriving as a human species, never ending supply. :D

Then there is the joke religion has played on us. "This life, quite frankly, sucks. So when you die, you go to this peaceful, beautiful place with this guy who is actually 3 people, that will steal all of your memories, and then determine whether you go to his playhouse, or Satan's."

Seriously now, I offer you my humor, and hope you ponder yourself to sleep tonight.
I better not loving die and become someone's car gas.

Why would you turn into gasoline? I mean like shove your dead, rotting corpse in a coal-fired power plant. :D

EDIT: Dang
Go kill yourself. That is not funny.

Ontopic: And like Valen said, this kind of stuff sucks. My uncle a while back had died of organ failure.

I'm sorry man.
Why are you sorry, did you kill him?

Sympathy.

As messed up as it may sound, I hope something close to you is lost forever. Your stupid, arrogant view of death will change in an instant after going through an experience like that.

I've lost a grandfather, and a step-grandmother. Soon to be some more grandparents. I am quite familiar with death, and I still maintain these views, because they are the most logical/rational ideas I could come up with.

Sympathy is only felt by a select few species, us being one of them, the question is why?

It may seem ridiculous but maybe, just maybe, to use it. :/

Empathy as well.

Meh.
