as a matter a fact my dad did play 2.0 and cool thanks for telling me that little bit more of info i might need so i dont seem handicapped (oh and idk why im saying this BUUUUUT) my dad was a Elven Thief who had a Long Bow and mitheral (or however you spell it) armor
I believe you mean elven rogue. Always a fun class to play.

Another thing they didn't have back in 2.0: Multiclassing and Prestiege Classes.

Ehh... I can't afford NWN at the moment. I just blew all my money on three new DnD books. Psionics FTW.

none of you deserve to see my wife, I'm not even going to show you me. you will never know what i look like because you keep trollin my marrage
Because you don't have one.

So, where could I buy D&D books?

Barnes & Noble they are in the mall if you go looking around enough youll find some D&D stuff no telling what edition they sell all i know is that they sell D&D good luck

EDIT: also try DNA comics or COMIX how ever they spell it they are also in the mall and everywhere you look youll basicly see D&D

Nice triple post.

I haven't taken a look at the older books for a while, but currently the "Thief" role is played by the Rogue class. So I guess you're father could have been a rogue that was a thief....

As to Nick, the books can be bought pretty much anywhere you can buy books. Unfortunately all they really sell now are the new 4.0 books. I personally prefer 3.5 which is now available only through ebay, amazon, and specialty stores.

Neverwinter Nights is a videogame based off of DnD. I haven't played it myself, partly because you have to pay for it...
If you want to play a DnD mmo, try googling "DDO". It was okay but again I much prefer the actual game.

It's interesting that number of haters is currently equaled to the number of people who have never heard of it. And both are dwarfed by those who just want to cast magic missile. (Burning Hands FTW)

Heh, nice.

We just use a vinyl play mat with wet-erase markers...

I have a friend whose invested thousands of dollars on the game.

Heroscape FTW.

Heroscape is awesome for DnD.
I just need to get my crew together and play.
