Ah. Do the sheets let you draw your character? I want to do this so much :v
Well, if you go into 4.0, you can use the online character builder. It makes character creation much quicker, though you only have access to classes/races from PHB I and PHB II, as well as having a max level of 3, unless you subscribe.
And yes, I do believe there is a spot on the standard character sheet where you would draw your character.
why is it people still buy cards and paper for stuff like this so long after the invention of the computer.
seriously, I'm sure there's a virtual online D&D out there, which I would probably even play if I knew about it.
I just can't take the hit to my dignity that is accepting I'm nerdy enough to play D&D with paper
Actually, they have some tools to do this online. The problem is that if you have only one computer and your friends are over to play, it would be weird having you and your 6 players all huddled around a single computer.
And as devil said, with paper allows all of you to interact with one another a deal more. It's a kind social gathering that most nerds don't get enough of.
Dungeons and Dragons Online:
www.DDO.com This isn't what I was talking about above, as it's an mmo, not an electronic version of DnD.
I guess what it comes down to is your own likes and dislikes. I'm at least secure enough to go out and have a great time with a group of friends doing something we all enjoy. If DnD doesn't float your boat, I hope you find something that does.
