Okay, all of the Mod1 bugs have been converted to the new bot system. So far the only "major" issue that I've encountered is that bots always attack players, even if the player is the same playertype/bot team as the bot (ie. If I spawn as a mite, bot mites will still attack me).
This will be an issue for hive systems, because hives will consist of both players and bots.
So, toying with the idea- once we get Bug Mod supported by AI, who'd be up for a objective-based mission focused on the bugs vs. AI enemies? Just curiousish ','
More like the players are vs. just AI. The idea is basicly a batch of capture points, and eventually the Bugs can get some rewards for various captures (better digger/subterrain bugs upon capping a certain cave, for example.) I'm thinking a hybrid of Siege and Trenchdig for this, it's not nessisarily the best of thought out but I'm trying to think of interesting bits.
This is a great idea! I'll be sure to send you the converted bug mods once they are done.
At least no one was on the surface at the time you were making it. Then you would have to fight them off if they were a non friendly.
Did anyone know that there was a surface that you can get to or did you tell them once you reached it?
Yeah that's true. I built that while playing as a normal bug, so I could have been killed instantly.
And I informed everyone of the surface near the end of the server. No one seemed to care. :P
Surely went to wast.
Yes it did. :(
