I just saw this topic when strolling around the forums.
Though it is most likely the fault of the bot events, without such a ridiculously low respawn timer it still happens to get in a self-destruct loop.
However, this happens with many other vehicles too.

I see.  well, I would fix that, but I don't want to increase the burn time. MAS Inc. doesn't allow any "oh-no-my-plane-is-destroyed-time-to-jump-out" pilots.  Cowardly low-lifes! >:E

That could work. We could possibly kill the pilot the instant the vehicle dies. Or, we could disallow jumping out of the vehicle once it is destroyed  :P
