Server is now ded, and so is MAS's EVIL UBER PIT HAHAHAHA.

The server was fun but I wouldn't say that it was one of your better servers. Most of the time the bugs were winning till less ppl left. The server could have been better. I was hoping we would be able to do the four person team this time, oh well.  :<

To be honest, I'm really not sure why the bugs suddenly started stomping MAS, since nothing has really changed. If anything, MAS has gotten more buffs than the bugs this time around.

The Worm needs a HP redo...or speed reduction when burrowed.
Also, why does the Snub-nose only seem to hit criticals?

Eventually the worm will not be able to attack or jump while burrowed, and also MAS's main counter to the Worm is in the game yet (not counting the Heavy RL, which would be very OP in the trenchdig).

Also the Snub-nose always critting is caused by the non-standard hitboxes of the bugs (more wide than tall, unlike the normal player) Unfortunately I don't think I can fix this. :S

Question.

When you are a bug, like the scorpion, is the first person camera in the head?
Because if you walked to a wall your camera goes through the wall, and when you turn its all awkward.
What really? I thought I fixed that ages ago... :S

The defensive position of DOOM, a windy path set for where peole need to take a large loop to get to the flag and filled with drop holes to drop boomer bugs on. :3 Sadly I built it and we had very little customers... :< See, this is what happens when one plays Sanctem too much.
We should incorporate that setup into our more permanent hive builds ;)

A reply to the dragonfly question that army asked me. Yay, the dragonfly's legs were stiff, they didn't move at all nor did the wings move. It was doing that when extreme was playing one as well. I was thinking that you haven't gotten around to animating the legs and wings yet, I didn't know it was problem of some kind so I just stayed quiet about that. I guess I should have said something then. :S

I'm not sure if you will approve of this idea or not. I  thought of a idea for a possible server(a future server) where it's bugs and MAS vs bosses. That way we could see how well the bugs and the MAS ppl would work together as a team. :/

Buzz Zapper (or bug zapper as you guys call it)
- Improved firing code
  + Now with very little spread even if locked on to a target!
  + Probably fixed some tiny bug when locked on to a certain target! (Pretty sure this wasn't used in the last server. :3)
  + Probably fixed the bug where you could not lock on to bots. Not sure. REQUIRES TESTING

- Finally realized how i could easily do multiple immunity stuff. Implementing soon.
- Still have to fix some kind of sort of bug involving flashy poison types.

Firefly Flash
- Implemented the fix for the sort of bug involving flash (interesting, i did fix the firefly flash but not the poison...)
  + It should now put the amount of flash only if the amount of flash being on the target is lower then the amount it is going to give. (Confusing ?)
- The angle check of the flash should be fine, not sure if your bug report on that still stands Armeh. REQUIRES INPUT

I think this definitely relates to user error this time around: MAS just wasn't acting as coordinated and not watching it's active systems, meanwhile Bugs constantly had several active flag chasers and also had a good share of people keeping the flying/spiders in check, not to mention other tunneling into the base beyond the main entry. The last hosting I blame Army for :V

As I think I mentioned before, Worm was one of the reasons I activated the Antitank Class and it's Strike Launcher, so maybe adding a RL class of some kind would help Army?

Was this all incorperated during the last hosting? I admit I didn't really notice any of this during play, mainly as most the time I spawned as Boomer Bug/Sniper Carbine classes :S I can definitely test the 'not sure if locks on bots' part if you'd be so kind to send the latest to me though, gives me something to do besides work on secondary builds.

Also, current tasks:

- Create a save specificly for MAS - Spawnrooms. Probably the spawnroom versions used for Cityfight will be accended as the 'official' spawnrooms for my MAS servers.

- More work on centerpieces/Bug Hive on Cityfight

- Secondary build project, stemming off some muses from the 'drama' topic relating to 'uncreative dms'

- Random Halloween Party build :3

That changelog is from today's work, so no.
However, a phase two update of the zapper probably was being used.
Hope you guys used it, if so, be sure to post commentary on how it feels/handles now.

I wish i could see the Zapper's shots further than 10 ft away...also, make the orb launcher full auto with the same ROF and give it an energy bar.

We're planning something better then an energy bar (sort of) for both the zapper as well as the orb launcher.

And as for your zapper suggestion, i am not sure, but you want to make it have a range of higher then 10 ft?
I don't think that is a very good idea, the current range is not bad actually.

The collision of playtypes is entirely defined in the script, and it is basically a box (unlike vehicle collision shapes, which are defined in the model)  T+T weapons deal crits if they hit the upper "head" portion of the collision box, which in the case of most bugs, is the top.

The zapper is intended for close range engagements, so nope, no range increase, sorry.
And I'd rather not have full-auto Orb Launchers, they are already spammy enough as it is.

     What why? The whole point of adding spread originally was so that the weapon had... spread.
