That's not accurate in either direction, you're a moron. The game title is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Not Call of Duty 6 Modern Warfare 2, because it's not part of the series, it's just part of the franchise, the same as WaW is not Call of Duty 5. That's like calling McDonalds, McDonalds 3543: French Fries Ahoy. You don't refer to a number because there ISN'T one, it's part of a franchise, not a series. CoD4: MW however had the number in the title so it is accurate to call it CoD4.

I said technicaly. I am aware that MW2 isn't CoD6. But People sometimes call MW2 CoD6 and World at War CoD5. You, my friend, are the one who is a moron, as I NEVER said that MW2 is CoD6. Applies to WaW.

That's not really even technically correct. Sure you could refer to games in numerical order as per their release, but then we get stuff like Legend of Zelda 5: Ocarina of Time or Legend of Zelda 15: Skyward Sword. Unless the number is actually designated, don't refer to it in such a way. It's stupid and pointless to defend.

Awp, M4, AK47, etc notwithstanding eh?

If I remember alot of people were excited for this game. Then it gets over hyped and people were "Waaah, people like this game more than I can so I must hate it to be cool." or "I'll just hate this game to be cool and I have no evidence to support why I hate."

The CoD Modern Warfare 1 on the wii is fun since 80% of the people who play it are 10 and it's basically a massive killing fest for me.

We all know someone who plays it and we all hate it.  So I would like to ask the forums:

What are your FPS style alternatives to this game?
Off the bandwagon now, don't think "I make threads abouts gamez that forums hat0r and I get respect"
Shut the forget up, the campaign is good, the online is terrible because of the children.

You don't have to listen to other players you know. That's the dumbest reason I keep hearing for people saying online play sucks.

Valve changed the names slightly to avoid lawsuits.

It is the 6th Call of Duty game.
Though it is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

I've had this argument several times regarding Star Wars.

It is a direct sequel to one game in the series. Just like Super Mario Galaxy 2.

But it the 6th game under the title "Call of Duty"

This game sounds cool, I should totally get it.

This can be correctly labeled as the 6th official game made under the Call of Duty franchise name.
