I can almost guarantee that nobody thinks this will get finished, since, if I'm right, not a single project you've ever posted here has been finished.

cool bro

Thanks but can you be more constructive with your feedback? Like how I can improve on the game? I know it's still VERY EARLY alpha but I could use the criticism.

D:

True but I did finish some projects like "Madness". And... Crap, you're right. Here I promise I'll finish this. Or at least get to beta stage. :3

Hot.

Thanks. Also, come on guys, poast! I need the feedback so I can start fixing up some stuff. I'm not going to add anything tonight but I'll at least make some small changes if I should.

Remove the heavy clunking when the grenade hits the ground.

Also as usual I can make muzak, kinda stuffty but still.

Go ahead. I found a nice techno soundtrack but go ahead with your music. It'll also save me a lot of trouble from copyright issues.

EDIT: Also, what's wrong with mah grenade clunking? >:U
Jk but seriously, is it that annoying?

It's generally a bad idea to discuss your projects with anyone (friends and family included) as it significantly decreases your likely hood of finishing the project. It is a result of the sense of accomplishment you feel just from sharing your goal with others; you feel like a great portion of the work is complete simply by sharing it with others. I can attest to this fact as I have fallen victim to it many times in the past. Check out the video below for a more in-depth look at the phenomenon.

As for constructive criticism: the rain sprites could use improvement (less blue, more neutral) and they should interact with the terrain and not just glide through it. Have some kind of interesting background that explains why there are platforms there to move on. Implement real bullet spread and not just a fake effect.

The platforms are just temporary until I find some city sprites which is why there's a lack of a background. Also I guess I should add a real bullet spread effect.

wtf...i just said "game maker :/"?

wtf...i just said "game maker :/"?

God you're a moron. You do realize, "Game Maker :/" is implementing that I'm stupid for using that compiler? Or do you just have your head so far up your ass that you just type random stuff on your keyboard?
