Why thank you.
Too bad I'm probably going to get raped though since I'd promised I would add a new feature today. D:

You need inspiration.

You do intend on using different weapons, right? But that much is obvious. I honestly do not like side-scroller action games except for the Madness series' games. This game just seems a little bit too generic. Unique items and content would really assist you.

Is game maker free?

Lite version is. Pro version is like 15 bucks. Also don't count on it being easy. It's just like any other compiler that requires hard code except this is just a bit more friendly. You can also use events but it makes you look like a douchebag and isn't stable.

And may I ask what this piece of material wealth is?

Would you possibly consider teaching me codes or events?

It looks awesome, but there are a couple of things you should fix:
The grenade doesn't really have a defined outline, so it looks like a green blob.
You should have two or three possible grenade-ground-hit sounds, and and one of them should play randomly every time the grenade hits the ground. Just to mix it up.
The grenade-ground-hit sound as I'm now calling it is a bit too loud. :S
Otherwise, great job.

I suppose. I'll teach you the basics but there's no way in hell I'm teaching you everything. Even I'm still learning. For example, I just figured out how to do that grenade emitter.

Ha, thanks :D
I just want to know, as you said, the basics.
Maybe flash games? Or are those not basic? :o

Hour 2
Made a machine gun reloading sprite.
Didn't bother coding it.
Watched entire forum rage over girls on the internet. (You know what I'm talking about.)
Ate dinner.
Drank a pepsi.
Browsed the forums.

I has done so much work! :D

Ha, thanks :D

Flash is a completely different language. I haven't bothered learning flash but my tech/magnet school will be going over flash in my game design class next year I believe or late this year.

Oh okay.
What kind of games are basic then?

Depends what coding language. The best language/compiler to start off with to learn the basics is either.

A) Game Maker
B) Roblox - Sadly, this is actually what taught me the basics of coding.

Once you understand the mechanics of programming it'll be a piece of cake. I'll type up a vocab for you in a sec.
