Lol.

I almost got a virus, but I managed to stop the downloading of it and deleted the file it managed to download (a .txt file that seemed to be some sort of thing that executed the virus).

I am so badass. :J /sarcasm

I had the bogus antivirus virus a few months ago. "Anti-Virus 2010", it blocked all websites and flooded me with messages saying things like having 404 viruses and needing to buy the full version "For only $99.99!"

To anti-virus programs like SUPERAntiSpyware and AVG it is called Security Center Option.

Once, I virus hit our new computer. It kept saying we needed to upload a non-existent Windows application. We finally had to wipe the computer's drive to get rid of the virus.

As it turns out, the virus was completely harmless.
DO A FAIL ROLL

Now if someone would just send a virus that gives you a nice malware free research folder

the man who would make it would be crowned king of everything

I made this program in Microsoft Visual Basic that was an ad like "Donate to save the dogs!" and there were 3 buttons. "Yes" "No" and "Cancel" . All 3 buttons shut off the computer. I E-Mailed it to everyone in my family. My dad almost shut off his computer at work. My mom just deleted it. My older bro deleted it and my younger bro fell for it.

Dad got a virus, got it removed.

Security tools >.<

I've had three in my lifetime. All on different computers. My first, on my Dell Inspiron 530 (ancient computer model) got a virus that, when the computer booted up, pretended to be an antivirus software. It scanned your Browsing History and named every site as a virus of some sort. I ran Trend Micro PCCillin (I only kept it because it expired, but it never actually stopped working. haha. stuffty antivirus) and removed it. On my laptop, I got one that also pretended to be antivirus. Was pretty easy to remove, Norton, blablabla

and then canto on this one /wil get link to thread

Apologies for the typing back there, I'd just painted my nails and I didn't really want to forget them up on this ugly-ass keyboard by being precise.

I got ad-aware and it spent 5 hours telling me files were trojans when they wasn't.

My mom once got a virus that loving "Squealed" at her. That's right.
To be honest it looked like an official Microsoft application but completely at random it would darken the screen and then produce a window, and when the window would form it would scream, or more likely squeal. It sounded like a pig. We went to best buy to get rid of it.

got some stupid trojan that had a death grip on my machine

NOTE TO ALL

IF YOU HAVE A VIRUS, TAKE THE HARDDRIVE AND PUT IT AS STORAGE IN ANOTHER COMPUTER

GET ON THE STORAGE FROM THE OTHER COMPUTERS HARDDRIVE AND DELETE VIRUSES CAREFULLY

2 trojans, 3 malware things, 2 things from system32, and 3 blue screens :c
