Hardcore might be a cool idea in a harsh area like Skyrim but i don't know about perks.

What the forget? Why would we want "perks" and "hardcore mode"?! Those deserve to stay in War-style FPS games you sick forget!

Mod support was announced.

Now i'm excited.

The Game informer article said there be perks

That's no suprise to me, mods have been the lifeblood of Bethesda

Nords anybody?
if combat is anything like it was in TES4
im going to have to be a mage because combat is repetitive whereas magic is varietal

Magic seems like it will be a bitch since you have to equip the spells to your hands. I'll probably be a battle mage of sorts, wielding a sword in one hand and a spell in the other

My mind = blown, I was just reading the gameinformer article on the "here there be dragons" page, and it was talking about the septims being dragonborn and stuff.

More about the article, The environments are supposed to be huge, diverse, and beautiful.
Speaking to characters supposedly changed as people will break eye contact and even do other things, you can also engage in conversation with several people at once about different things, the people also show more expression

That conversation stuff seemed awesome, but then again everything about this game is making me stuff bricks.

Perks were in Oblivion too, you just didn't pick them manually. I don't know why people are getting mad about suddenly having a choice. Now instead of just getting a random perk for leveling up a skill you can pick one that you think will benefit you more.

example of a perk in tes4?

Eh, leveling up acrobatics and being able to jump off the surface of water?

Or those http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Skill_Perks

oh i see now
but thats with dedication towards a certain skill, you cant just get to level 16 as a heavy warrior and then jump off water

i hope the graphics are going to have love with my eyes
