How can I select several verticies/faces from an object, and make them a seperate object?

Q: How do I split meshes? Separate one part of a mesh to make it it's own mesh?
A: Select a part of your mesh (Vertices, faces or edges) and press P on you keyboard and select Selection.

A: There are a few white lines in a triangular shape in both top right and bottom left of every panel. Click and drag. That's all I can really say as I do not know how it exactly works myself.

How would I add transparent(scope or glass) and/or normal(Metal/camo) textures to a model?

Still crashing. But the warning is gone.

I really don't have the slightest clue. It could be anything really. Some tiny thing you're doing. The only way I might be able to help at his point is if you tape yourself opening blenderand the save, exporting and using it in Blockland an uploading the video somewhere. I really have no clue.

Now why would you be moving the .dts to the shapes folder and using mission editor to spawn it?

Something I read in this forum subsection that would eliminate the possibility of a scripting error and focus on any .dts or modelling errors...
Also, it crashes before I spawn when I package it into a weapon.

Ugh. Just copypasta the sword script, do some remnaming and done. That's what I use.
