Wow, what a thing to post to your paying clients... shocking.

if I'm paying to have something hosted for me, I don't want to have to look at stats. it sort of adds a burden to my mind that if i must be shown numbers, then i shouldnt have faith that the service is always good. it either does or doesn't. I believe we know the numbers are bad when the server lags or doesn't connect. I don't need to login somewhere to be sure.

Well that's fine. You aren't required to look at the numbers. Just start your server and join it.

Some people who need them for technical purposes find them very convenient, though.

Actually, CPU/memory logs help you figure out what may be the fault of your add-ons or a server issue. You don't have to look at them and you have the ability to hide certain axes.

what convinced you that it was a good idea to post this is beyond me.

It was a joke and really poking fun at the attitudes of "copying" (read: healthy competition) in the community.

Exactly, this is my philosophy on it. You pay because you don't want to worry about anything to do with hosting, resource stats should never be a concern imo.

I didn't say anyone had to be concerned over it, but it seems to be a tool that should be there. If I didn't say anything or do this myself I doubt you would've even implemented such a feature.

We changed how we collected data ages ago for internal monitoring purposes, the simple real-time front end just completed the feature.

This service is not open to the general public, but it's free for now.
